LOOKING FOR SOMETHING TO DO TONIGHT and TOMORROW? COME TO DOWNTOWN MANSFIELD!
MANSFIELD--Kathy Fetzer-Goodwin, an Art Coordinator, local advocate & organizer, and proud mother; is someone who truly loves Mansfield, especially the downtown area. But most importantly, Kathy is someone who cares about the people who live here and is helping to promote Mansfield culture through the arts community. Kathy is also one of the founders of 'AriStreet.' ArtiStreet (Beginning tonight at 5 PM), is an outdoor music and arts festival to kick off the summer and bring attention to the artisans of our culturally rich area. The festivities will begin at Element of Art on Friday June 2nd (First Friday) with an art opening from 5:00 – 8:00pm featuring artists who are participating in the ArtiStreet Festival. The gallery is located at 96 North Main St Mansfield, Ohio. On Saturday, June 3rd, there will be artisans lining the sidewalks of the Downtown Carrousel District from 10 - 4 showing how they create their craft. There will also be a full day of entertainment on the sidewalk in front of the Carrousel, and spoken word, soloists, bands, performings arts, etc. EVERYONE IS WELCOME! Join fellow Mansfielders here downtown to celebrate First Friday and ArtiStreet! Not only will they feature artwork from the EOA/RNI artists; but will also have plenty of local artwork on display throughout the month of June to thank the artisans participating in ArtiStreet on June 3rd! Tonight (June 2nd), singer/songwriter and Mansfield native, Brady Jacquin, is back to perform. There will be plenty of delicious food on hand from Main Street Cafe and City Garden Cafe.
